About the role
Synergy Medical Staffing is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant for a 13-week assignment starting August 1, 2026, in Hemet, California.
Responsibilities
- Assist licensed physical therapists in providing patient care
- Perform therapeutic exercises under supervision
- Administer treatments such as heat, cold, and electrical stimulation
- Document patient progress and treatment sessions accurately
Requirements
- Current CPR certification
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Successful completion of a certified physical therapy assistant program
- Valid California Physical Therapy Assistant license
Qualifications
- Experience in a clinical setting preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office

Pay
The pay package is based on 8-hour shifts and 40.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation), with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
