About the role

Synergy Medical Staffing is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant for a 52-week assignment starting July 20, 2026, located in Clinton, Maryland. The shift is 8 hours per day, Monday through Friday.

Responsibilities

• Assist licensed physical therapists in patient care activities
• Help patients with exercises and treatments
• Document patient progress and treatment sessions
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during therapy sessions

Requirements

• Current certification as a Physical Therapy Assistant
• Experience in a clinical setting preferred
• Knowledge of therapeutic techniques and equipment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Pass a background check
• Valid driver's license

Pay

The pay package is based on 8-hour shifts and 40.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation), with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
