Key Highlights Weekly pay: $1,691–$1,846 per week Hours per week: 36–40 Contract duration: 12 weeks with option to extend Shift: 8-hour days, Monday through Friday Start date: 08/24/2026 Setting: Long-Term Acute Care rehabilitation in a hospital setting Responsibilities Provide patient-focused physical therapy interventions under supervision of a licensed therapist, following a treatment plan Assist with therapeutic activities for inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation, including mobility, gait training, strengthening, and balance exercises Monitor patient response to therapy, document progress, and communicate changes to the supervising clinician Prepare therapy areas and equipment, ensure patient safety, and maintain clinical cleanliness and organization Collaborate with the rehabilitation team and other care providers to coordinate care across settings Assist with administrative tasks such as charting, data collection, and timely completion of documentation in the patient record Requirements Active Missouri PTA license required Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program Ability to work in a LTAC/hospital rehabilitation setting, with both inpatient and outpatient caseload Strong communication and documentation skills; patient safety mindset Willingness to work Monday–Friday, 8-hour shifts (8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m. or similar) Prior experience in physical therapy settings (inpatient or outpatient) preferred Benefits and Support Dedicated recruiter and travel support throughout the assignment Credentialing and onboarding assistance Scheduling coordination and extension opportunities when available Access to ongoing support during the assignment Find more opportunities Find additional physical therapy openings with Healthforce Healthcare LLC by visiting https://healthforce.applytojob.com/apply PAY DISCLAIMER Please note: Pay rates and guaranteed hours are estimates and may vary.
