Travel Physical Therapy Assistant - Inpatient Rehab - $1,938 per week

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to provide exceptional therapy services in both outpatient and inpatient settings, including swing bed, observation, and extended recovery. This is a 13-week contract position requiring 32 hours per week with 4-8 hour shifts from 07:00 to 19:00.

Responsibilities

• Assist physical therapists in developing and administering treatment plans for patients.
• Perform therapy interventions according to protocols and assist patients with exercises.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in accordance with facility standards.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient care.
• Adapt to varying patient needs and float to different departments as required.

Requirements

• Current Missouri Licensure as a Physical Therapy Assistant.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and CPR certification through the American Heart Association.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in a physical therapy role.
• Previous charge experience is preferred.

Pay

Pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.

Schedule

• 13-week contract position.
• 40 hours per week, 8-hour day shifts (07:00 to 15:00).
• 32 hours per week with 4-8 hour shifts from 07:00 to 19:00.
