Responsibilities

• Provides physical therapy treatments under the supervision of licensed physical therapists, including the use of modalities, manual techniques, and common exercise techniques.
• Instructs and guides patients through functional activities such as bed mobility, transfers, gait, and balance activities.
• Works under minimal supervision and may mentor and train staff on technical skills.
• Educates patients and caregivers, observes treatment responses, documents interventions timely and accurately, and reports changes to overseeing clinicians.
• Performs chart documentation and patient education with a focus on patient safety and adherence to treatment precautions.

Requirements

• High School Education/GED or equivalent
• Associates/Technical Degree or equivalent combined education/experience
• Physical Therapy Assistant licensure in all applicable states
• CPR or BLS certification from an approved vendor
• Valid Driver's License and age at least 21 years

Schedule

Day shift, 8 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week.
