Travel Physical Therapy Assistant - $2,271 per week

About the role

We are seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join a hospital-based rehabilitation team providing hands-on patient care in acute and inpatient settings. This role is ideal for clinicians who enjoy working with medically complex patients while supporting recovery and mobility.

Responsibilities

• Deliver skilled physical therapy treatments under PT supervision
• Absorb and assist with transfers, gait training, therapeutic exercises, and mobility
• Monitor patient response and report progress
• Document treatments and patient outcomes

Requirements

• Associate’s Degree from an accredited PTA program
• Active (or pending) state PTA license

Qualifications

• New grad PTAs are welcome with structured supervision and mentorship

Skills

• Skilled in delivering physical therapy treatments
• Ability to assist with patient transfers and exercises
• Knowledge of patient monitoring and documentation

Pay

Pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
