Wellspring Nurse Source is seeking a travel Physical Therapy Assistant for a position in Dover Foxcroft, Maine.

Responsibilities

• Assist licensed physical therapists in providing patient care
• Perform tasks such as positioning patients, administering treatments, and documenting progress
• Work closely with patients to ensure they understand their treatment plans and home exercise programs
• Ensure all equipment and supplies are properly maintained and utilized

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Current certification as a Physical Therapy Assistant from an accredited program
• Knowledge of basic medical terminology and anatomy
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Qualifications

• Experience in a clinical setting preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Passion for helping others recover and improve their quality of life

Skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Basic computer skills
