About the role
MedPro Healthcare Allied Staffing is seeking a travel Physical Therapy Assistant for a 13-week assignment in Waterville, Maine.
Responsibilities
- Provide physical therapy assistance under the supervision of licensed physical therapists.
- Assist in patient care activities including but not limited to patient positioning, mobility, and therapeutic exercises.
- Document patient progress and treatment outcomes accurately and timely.
- Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient care plans.
Requirements
- Current state license and minimum of one year's experience as a Physical Therapy Assistant.
- Associate's degree from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program or equivalent certification.
- Pass the National Physical Therapy Exam (NPTE).
- Other requirements to be determined by the client facility.
