Travel Physical Therapy Assistant - $1,857 per week

Vibra Travels is seeking a dependable, detail-focused Travel Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to support physical therapy services in a hospital or inpatient rehabilitation setting in Danville, Virginia. This role helps patients improve mobility and functional outcomes while traveling the country.

Responsibilities

• Implement physical therapy treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist
• Assist patients with therapeutic exercises, gait training, transfers, and mobility activities
• Maintain documentation standards and use electronic medical record systems
• Provide patient education and collaborate with interdisciplinary rehabilitation teams

Requirements

• Current, valid, and active license to practice as a Physical Therapist Assistant in the state of employment
• Minimum of two (2) years of recent experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant in a hospital, rehab, skilled nursing, or outpatient setting
• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
• Current, valid, and active driver’s license
• Ability to travel using publicly available air and ground transportation
• Current BLS certification from a Vibra Travels-approved vendor (AHA preferred and required by some clients)
• Free from illegal drug use and effects of alcohol in the workplace

Pay

Pay package is based on 8-hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
