Travel Physical Therapy Assistant - $1,796 per week

Vibra Travels is seeking a Corporate Travel Physical Therapy Assistant for a 13-week assignment in Ottumwa, Iowa.

Responsibilities

• Work in acute care, inpatient rehab, LTAC, or SNF settings
• Provide physical therapy assistance under the supervision of licensed physical therapists
• Assist with patient care activities including but not limited to mobility training, exercises, and patient education
• Adhere to regulatory standards and compliance requirements

Requirements

• Current BLS certification from a Vibra-approved vendor
• 1-2 years of PTA experience
• Diploma or Associate of Science Degree in Physical Therapy Assisting
• Valid and active license to practice as a Physical Therapy Assistant in the state of employment
• Previous acute care experience preferred

Qualifications/Skills

• Additional certifications may be required by Vibra Travels (e.g., ACLS)
• Strong organizational, prioritizing, and analytical skills
• Ability to make independent decisions
• Working knowledge of computer and software applications
• Freedom from illegal drug and alcohol use

Pay and Schedule

The pay package is based on 8-hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
