About the role

We are seeking a Travel Physical Therapist Assistant for a 13-week Skilled Nursing Facility contract in Bel Air, Maryland. This post-acute rehab opportunity offers the chance to work with adult and geriatric patients while helping them improve mobility, strength, balance, and overall functional independence.

This is a great fit for a PTA who enjoys hands-on patient care, working under the direction of a Physical Therapist, and collaborating with an interdisciplinary rehab team.

Responsibilities

Carry out treatment plans established by the supervising Physical Therapist.
Assist patients with therapeutic exercise, gait training, balance activities, transfer training, and functional mobility.
Monitor patient progress and communicate updates to the supervising PT.
Educate patients on home exercise programs, safety techniques, and proper body mechanics.
Complete timely documentation and progress notes.
Collaborate with nursing staff and the interdisciplinary rehab team to support patient outcomes.

Maryland PTA License Required
BLS Required
SNF or post-acute experience preferred
