Travel Physical Therapy Assistant - $1,725 per week

About the role

This role is ideal for clinicians who enjoy working with medically complex patients while supporting recovery and mobility. New grad PTAs are welcome with structured supervision and mentorship.

Responsibilities

• Deliver skilled physical therapy treatments under PT supervision
• Absorb and assist with transfers, gait training, therapeutic exercises, and mobility
• Monitor patient response and report progress
• Document treatments and patient outcomes

Requirements

• Associate’s Degree from an accredited PTA program
• Active (or pending) state PTA license

Qualifications

• Experience in acute and inpatient settings preferred
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Skills

• Skilled in delivering physical therapy treatments
• Knowledgeable in patient monitoring and documentation
• Effective in assisting with patient transfers and exercises

Pay

Pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
