Physical Therapist Outpatient position available in the outpatient setting within a healthcare facility located in Lakeland, Florida. This role involves assisting the physical therapy team in implementing treatment plans, supporting patient progress through therapeutic interventions, and promoting patient safety and well-being. Job Details

• Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours shifts, minimum of 40 hours per week

Required Qualifications

• Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school; CAPTE certification;
• Active license for the state of Florida;
• CPR certification;
• No minimum experience required, but 1 or more years of outpatient clinical experience is preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience working in outpatient physical therapy settings is highly desired.

Additional Information

• The role involves assisting with therapeutic interventions such as posture training, strengthening exercises, balance and coordination exercises, and patient education.
• The therapist will also train patients in the use of assistive devices and modalities, monitor patient responses, and document progress.
• Adherence to safety and infection control guidelines is essential, including proper equipment use and maintenance of a clean treatment environment.
• The position requires excellent patient and team communication skills and a strong commitment to safety and quality care.

Pay Package

The pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
