Travel Physical Therapy Assistant - $1,604 per week

About the role

Synergy Medical Staffing is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant for a 13-week assignment starting August 24, 2026, located in Monterey, California. The shift is 8 hours per day, Monday through Friday.

Responsibilities

• Assist licensed physical therapists in providing patient care
• Help patients with exercises and activities of daily living
• Document patient progress and treatment plans
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during therapy sessions

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy or related field
• Current CPR certification
• Valid California Physical Therapy Assistant license
• Experience in a clinical setting preferred

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong organizational and time management skills

Skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Knowledgeable about physical therapy techniques and equipment

Pay

The pay package is based on 8-hour shifts and 40.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation), with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
