About the role
LRS Healthcare - Allied is seeking a travel Physical Therapy Assistant for a 13-week position starting as soon as possible in Falmouth, Maine.
Responsibilities
- Assist licensed physical therapists in providing patient care
- Perform routine tasks such as setting up equipment, preparing treatment areas, and assisting patients with mobility
- Help patients with exercises and stretches as directed by physical therapists
- Document patient progress and communicate with other healthcare providers as needed
Requirements
- Current certification as a Physical Therapy Assistant
- Experience in a clinical setting preferred but not required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of a recognized Physical Therapy Assistant program
- Passing scores on relevant licensing exams
Skills
- Proficient in using medical terminology and understanding of anatomy and physiology
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Good problem-solving skills

Pay
The pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
