About the role
Skyline Med Staff Therapy is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant for a 13-week assignment starting July 20, 2026 in Taos, New Mexico.
Responsibilities
- Assist licensed physical therapists in providing patient care
- Perform therapeutic exercises and treatments under supervision
- Document patient progress and treatment sessions accurately
- Adhere to infection control protocols and safety guidelines
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year recent work experience in physical therapy assistant
- A current BLS/CPR certification through American Heart Association
- Active license in the state of the job location (if applicable)
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Graduation from an accredited physical therapy assistant program
- Passing score on the National Physical Therapy Exam (NPTE)
Skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy
- Proficiency in computer systems for documentation

Pay
