About the role
TalentBurst, Inc is seeking a travel Physical Therapy Assistant for a 12-week assignment starting July 20, 2026, in Rock Hill, South Carolina.
Responsibilities
- Provide physical therapy services under the supervision of licensed physical therapists.
- Assist patients with activities of daily living, including mobility training and exercises.
- Document patient progress and treatment outcomes using Homecare Homebase EMR system.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort during treatments.
- Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a clean, safe environment.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of experience in Home Health.
- Driver’s License and proof of insurance.
- BLS certification.
- State license for PTA.
- Associate degree or higher in Physical Therapy.
- Experience with Homecare Homebase EMR system.
- Charting experience with Homecare.
- Knowledge of OASIS-E assessment tool.
- Experience with adult patients, chronic diseases, wound care, IV, pleurx, wound vac, post-stroke, post-rehab, and joint replacements.
Qualifications
- Must reside within a 50-mile radius of the home unit.
- Willingness to travel to York and Lancaster counties (South Carolina).
- Ability to work weekends as needed.
- Availability to work holidays if desired.
Skills
- Charting experience with Homecare.
- Homecare Homebase experience.
- Experience with adult patients, chronic diseases, wound care, IV, pleurx, wound vac, post-stroke, post-rehab, and joint replacements.
- Knowledge of OASIS-E assessment tool.
- Experience with geriatric/Adult, chronic disease management, maintenance notes, gait speed, and use of gait belts.
Benefits
- No call.
- No weekends, except as posted as a weekend only position (Fri/Sat/Sun).
- Holiday availability may be considered with manager approval.
- Floating to Union or Mecklenburg County is possible but unlikely.
Pay & Schedule
The pay package is based on 8-hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation), with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
Schedule
Shift: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday.
