About the role
TRS Healthcare is seeking a travel Physical Therapy Assistant for a 13-week assignment starting immediately in Danville, Virginia.
Responsibilities
- Assist licensed physical therapists in patient care activities
- Perform therapeutic exercises under supervision
- Administer treatments as directed by a licensed physical therapist
- Document patient progress and treatment sessions accurately
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Current certification as a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA)
- Experience in a healthcare setting preferred
Qualifications
- Pass a criminal background check
- Pass a drug screening
