About the role
Triage Staffing is seeking a travel Physical Therapy Assistant for a position in Hampton, Virginia.
Responsibilities
- Provide physical therapy assistance under the supervision of licensed physical therapists.
- Assist in patient assessments, treatment planning, and documentation.
- Perform therapeutic exercises and activities to help patients improve their physical function.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort during treatments.
Requirements
- Current licensure as a Physical Therapy Assistant in Virginia.
- Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy or related field.
- Experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Qualifications
- Pass a background check.
- Pass a drug screening.
- Pass a criminal history check.
Skills
- Excellent communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Knowledge of rehabilitation techniques and protocols.
- Ability to work flexible hours and travel as needed.
Pay
Competitive, custom pay packages are offered based on experience and qualifications.
Schedule
40 hours per week, 8-hour shifts, Monday through Friday.
