About the role
Triage Staffing is seeking a travel Physical Therapy Assistant for a position in Waldorf, Maryland.
Responsibilities
- Assist licensed physical therapists in providing patient care
- Perform therapeutic exercises and treatments under supervision
- Document patient progress and treatment sessions accurately
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
Requirements
- Current licensure as a Physical Therapy Assistant in the state of Maryland
- Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy or related field
- Experience in a healthcare setting preferred
- Pass a background check and drug screening
Qualifications
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office
Skills
- Proficiency in using rehabilitation equipment
- Knowledge of therapeutic exercise principles
- Effective problem-solving and critical thinking skills
Pay
Competitive, custom pay packages are offered based on experience and qualifications.
Schedule
8-hour shifts, Monday through Friday, for a duration of 13 weeks starting July 20, 2026.
