Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)
Position: Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)
Location: Rolla, MO
Employment Type: 13 Weeks Contract

• Implement components of patient care plans under the supervision of a Physical Therapist.
• Absorb and assist patients with therapeutic exercises, stretching, strengthening, and mobility activities.
• Work directly with Physical Therapists to provide effective patient treatments.
• Collect and document patient progress and treatment data.
• Absorb and assist with patient transfers, including moving patients from wheelchairs or walkers to therapy areas.
• Teach patients and families techniques to improve mobility, balance, and independence at home.
• Provide guidance to families regarding safe home exercise practices.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe therapy environment.
• Absorb and assist with administrative tasks, including scheduling appointments and maintaining documentation.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.

Required Qualifications

• Current Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license.
• Minimum 1 year of physical therapy experience.
• Previous Long-Term Care (LTC) or Rehabilitation experience required.
• Current BLS certification.
• Must hold an active Missouri PTA license.
• Licenses Requirements: Missouri State License Required. Compact license candidates accepted.
