About the role
AHS Staffing is seeking a travel Physical Therapy Assistant for a 14-week assignment starting July 27, 2026.
Responsibilities
- Provide physical therapy assistance under the supervision of licensed physical therapists.
- Assist in patient care activities such as exercise, stretching, and mobility training.
- Document patient progress and treatment plans accurately.
- Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a clean and safe environment.
Requirements
- Current certification as a Physical Therapy Assistant.
- Experience in a skilled nursing facility setting preferred.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Completion of a certified Physical Therapy Assistant program.
- Pass a background check and drug screening.
