About the role
A physical therapy assistant position is available for a 13-week assignment starting on August 3, 2026, in Danville, Virginia.
Responsibilities
- Assist licensed physical therapists in providing patient care
- Help patients perform exercises and maintain their health
- Document patient progress and communicate with other healthcare providers
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in physical therapy assistance or related field
- Current certification as a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA)
- Experience in a clinical setting preferred
Qualifications
- Passing score on the National Physical Therapy Exam (NPTE)
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
Skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Pay
$25 per hour
Schedule
10-hour shifts, Monday through Friday
