Travel Physical Therapy Assistant - $1,343 per week

Triage Staffing is seeking a travel Physical Therapy Assistant for a 13-week assignment starting on July 6, 2026, in Birmingham, Alabama. The position is 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with an 8-hour shift.

Responsibilities

• Assist licensed physical therapists in providing patient care
• Perform therapeutic exercises under supervision
• Administer treatments such as heat, cold, ultrasound, and electrical stimulation
• Document patient progress and treatment sessions accurately
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans

Requirements

• Current licensure as a Physical Therapy Assistant in the state of Alabama
• Completion of a physical therapy assistant program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP)
• Experience in a healthcare setting preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Pass a background check and drug screening
• Pass a criminal history check

Skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Knowledge of rehabilitation techniques and protocols
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
