Responsibilities
- Provide physical therapy assistance under the supervision of licensed physical therapists.
- Assist in patient care activities such as positioning, mobility, and exercise programs.
- Document patient progress and communicate with other healthcare team members.
Requirements
- Current certification as a Physical Therapy Assistant.
- Experience in a long-term care facility setting preferred.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Completion of a physical therapy assistant program.
- Passing scores on the National Physical Therapy Exam (NPTE).
