About the role
Skyline Med Staff Therapy is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant for a 13-week assignment starting July 20, 2026, in Portage, Michigan.
Responsibilities
- Assist licensed physical therapists in providing patient care
- Perform routine tasks such as preparing treatment areas, assisting patients with mobility, and documenting patient progress
- Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a clean and safe environment
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year recent work experience in physical therapy assistant
- A current BLS/CPR certification through American Heart Association
- Active license in the state of Portage, Michigan (if applicable)
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an accredited physical therapy assistant program
- Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy
Skills
