About the role
TalentBurst, Inc is seeking a travel Physical Therapy Assistant for a travel job in Paramus, New Jersey.
Responsibilities
- Provide physical therapy assistance under the supervision of licensed physical therapists.
- Assist in patient assessments, treatment planning, and documentation.
- Perform therapeutic exercises and activities to help patients improve mobility and function.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort during treatments.
Requirements
- Current certification as a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA).
- Experience in a clinical setting preferred but not required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Passing scores on the National Physical Therapy Exam (NPTE).
- Current CPR certification.
Skills
- Proficient in using medical terminology and equipment.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours and travel as needed.
Benefits
Tax-free stipend to be determined based on 8 hour shifts and 32 hours per week.
Pay
The pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 32 hours per week (subject to confirmation).
Schedule
