About the role
As a Physical Therapy Assistant, you will be part of a dedicated team providing quality patient care in Yuma, Arizona.
Responsibilities
- Assist licensed physical therapists in the delivery of patient care
- Perform tasks such as positioning patients, administering treatments, and monitoring patient progress
- Adhere to safety protocols and ensure patient comfort
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year recent work experience in the specialty of the job applying for
- A current BLS/CPR certification through American Heart Association
- Active License in the state of the job location (if applicable)
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program
- Passing score on the national licensing exam (if required)
Skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Attention to detail and ability to follow procedures accurately
