About the role

Travel Physical Therapist (PT) responsible for evaluating, diagnosing, and treating patients to improve mobility, reduce pain, and enhance quality of life.

Responsibilities

• Develop personalized rehabilitation plans
• Implement therapy techniques
• Operate specialized equipment
• Monitor patient progress
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure coordinated care
• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercises and injury prevention
• Maintain safety and infection control standards
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives
• Assist in discharge planning
• Perform additional duties within scope of practice

Qualifications & Skills

• Valid state license and BLS certification required
• Doctorate degree preferred
• Strong clinical, communication, critical thinking, and interpersonal skills
• Physical abilities to move equipment and assist patients
• Ability to work effectively under pressure, follow instructions, and communicate clearly
• Sensory acuity and technical motor skills essential
