Travel Physical Therapist - Weekly Pay

About the role

Travel Physical Therapist responsible for evaluating, developing, and implementing patient care plans in an acute care setting. New grads encouraged to apply; certifications may be required prior to assignment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee supervision of PTAs and support staff
• Bill within facility guidelines
• Ensure compliance with state PT board rules
• Collaborate with medical personnel to create and modify care plans
• Understand adaptive equipment
• Evaluate patient progress
• Utilize medical systems for documentation

Qualifications and Skills

• Minimum of 6 months experience (1 year preferred)
• Current BLS certification
• State-specific license
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology
• Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods

Compensation based on 8-hour shifts.
