Travel Physical Therapist - Weekly Pay

About the role

We are seeking a Physical Therapist for a travel assignment focused on evaluating, diagnosing, and treating patients to enhance mobility, reduce pain, and improve quality of life. The therapist will develop personalized, evidence-based treatment plans, utilize various techniques and equipment, and collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care. Additionally, they will educate patients and caregivers on home exercises, injury prevention, and self-management strategies, maintaining a safe environment and adhering to regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

• Assessing patients’ physical conditions through tests and examinations
• Creating and implementing individualized rehabilitation programs
• Monitoring patient progress and adjusting treatment plans accordingly
• Operating specialized equipment and documenting outcomes
• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to optimize care
• Providing patient education for long-term recovery
• Maintaining safety and infection control protocols
• Participating in quality assurance and professional development
• Assisting with discharge planning and supporting patient independence

Qualifications

• Valid Physical Therapy license in compliance with state regulations
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
• Strong clinical, communication, and critical thinking skills
• Proficiency in PC skills and ability to follow instructions
• Physical ability to assist with equipment and patient mobility
• Effective interpersonal skills to work with diverse healthcare team members
• Ability to manage stress, work independently, and maintain attention to detail
