Travel Physical Therapist - Weekly Pay

About the role

Responsible for evaluating, developing, and implementing care plans for diverse patient populations in an acute care setting.

Key Duties

• Supervise PTAs and support staff
• Bill and document accurately within facility and insurance guidelines
• Collaborate with medical personnel to ensure cohesive care plans
• Understand and adhere to state-specific PT regulations
• Evaluate patient needs and modify plans accordingly
• Use medical computer systems efficiently
• Assess adaptive equipment needs and educate patients

Qualifications & Skills

• Minimum 6 months of PT experience (1 year preferred; new grads encouraged)
• Valid state licensure and BLS certification
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and stoop for extended periods

Additional Requirements

• Compliance with PT board rules and additional certifications as needed.
