About the role
Travel Physical Therapist providing patient evaluations, developing and implementing care plans in an acute care setting.
Responsibilities
- Oversee supervising PTAs and support staff
- Bill within facility guidelines
- Ensure compliance with state PT board rules
- Collaborate with medical personnel
- Evaluate and modify care plans
- Understand adaptive equipment
- Utilize electronic systems
- Maintain accurate documentation
Qualifications & Skills
- Minimum 6 months of experience (1 year preferred)
- BLS certification
- Valid state license
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to bend or stoop comfortably
