Travel temporary assignment in a skilled nursing facility in Scarborough, Maine, United States. Assignment starts 10/26/2026 and runs for 13 weeks.
Responsibilities
- Conduct initial evaluations and ongoing assessments of residents to determine physical therapy needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans with measurable goals
- Provide therapeutic interventions including gait training, balance, strength, mobility, and functional activities
- Monitor progress, adjust treatment plans, and document outcomes in resident records
- Collaborate with nursing, OT, SLP, and case management to coordinate care and discharge planning
- Educate residents and families on home exercise programs and safety strategies
Requirements
- Active physical therapy license to practice in the United States (state-specific as required)
- Ability to work effectively in a skilled nursing facility setting with geriatric patients
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and thorough documentation
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate within an interdisciplinary care team
- Willingness to commit to a 13-week travel assignment and related logistics
Pay
- Weekly pay: $2,226–$2,319 per week
- Guaranteed hours: 35 hours per week
Schedule
- Five 8-hour days (08:00–16:30)
