Travel Physical Therapist (PT)

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients to improve mobility, reduce pain, and enhance quality of life.
• Develop personalized treatment plans, utilize various therapy techniques and equipment, monitor patient progress, and adjust interventions accordingly.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care, educate patients and caregivers on home exercises and injury prevention, and maintain documentation of evaluations and outcomes.
• Adhere to safety and infection control standards, participate in quality improvement, and support discharge planning for seamless patient transitions.

Qualifications & Skills

• Valid state licensure, current BLS certification, critical thinking, effective communication, technical proficiency, physical ability to assist with equipment, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under supervision, handle multiple tasks, and maintain professionalism in diverse settings.
• Must possess visual acuity and manual dexterity necessary for therapy tasks.

Key Duties

• Conduct assessments, develop and implement treatment plans, operate therapy equipment safely, document patient progress, collaborate with team members, and educate patients for long-term recovery.
• Maintain a safe environment and engage in ongoing professional development.
