Travel Physical Therapist (PT)

About the Role

Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients to improve mobility, reduce pain, and enhance quality of life. Develop and implement personalized, evidence-based treatment plans using exercise and manual therapy.

Responsibilities

• Operate specialized equipment safely, assess patient progress, and adjust treatments accordingly.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and ensure optimal outcomes.
• Educate patients and caregivers on exercises, injury prevention, and self-management techniques.
• Maintain a safe environment, adhere to infection control protocols, and participate in quality improvement activities.
• Assist in discharge planning and perform other related duties within scope of practice.

Requirements

• Valid Physical Therapy license per state regulations.
• Current BLS certification.
• Strong clinical, communication, and critical thinking skills.
• Proficiency in reading, writing, PC use, and comprehension of instructions.
• Physical ability to move equipment and assist patients.
• Effective interpersonal skills and professionalism.
• Ability to work under pressure, handle irregular schedules, and maintain attention to detail.
• Visual acuity and effective communication skills.
