About the role
We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist for a travel position in Olympia, Washington.
Responsibilities
- Evaluating patients’ physical conditions using tests and clinical exams
- Developing personalized rehabilitation plans
- Implementing treatment techniques to improve mobility and reduce pain
- Operating therapy equipment safely and effectively
- Assessing patient progress, adjusting plans, and documenting outcomes
- Collaborating with healthcare team members for coordinated care
- Educating patients and caregivers on exercises, injury prevention, and self-management
- Maintaining safety standards and infection control protocols
- Participating in quality assurance and professional development
- Assisting in discharge planning for smooth patient transitions
Requirements
- Valid Physical Therapy license and BLS certification
- Strong clinical, communication, and critical thinking skills
- Physical ability to perform manual tasks and move equipment
- Effective interpersonal and motor skills
- Ability to work under pressure and adapt to irregular schedules
