About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Travel Physical Therapist (PT) to evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with physical impairments, aiming to improve mobility, reduce pain, and enhance quality of life.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct patient assessments to identify physical impairments and functional limitations.
  • Develop personalized treatment plans based on patient needs and goals.
  • Implement therapy techniques, exercises, and interventions to improve patient outcomes.
  • Operate and maintain specialized therapeutic equipment.
  • Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and occupational therapists.
  • Educate patients and caregivers on self-care techniques and home exercise programs.
  • Maintain safety protocols and compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Engage in professional development activities to stay current with best practices.

Requirements

  • Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Strong clinical skills in evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of physical impairments.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Physical ability to perform necessary tasks, including lifting and manual techniques.

Qualifications

Preferred candidates hold a Doctorate in Physical Therapy and have relevant experience, though new graduates are welcome to apply.
