Responsibilities

• Evaluating, diagnosing, and treating patients with physical impairments to improve mobility, reduce pain, and enhance quality of life
• Developing personalized, evidence-based treatment plans using exercises and manual therapy
• Assessing patient progress, adjusting treatments, and documenting outcomes accurately
• Collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care
• Educating patients and caregivers on home programs, injury prevention, and self-management
• Operating and maintaining therapy equipment safely and effectively
• Maintaining a safe, compliant treatment environment and engaging in professional development
• Participating in discharge planning and quality assurance activities

Requirements

• Valid physical therapy license in accordance with state regulations
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
• Strong clinical, communication, critical thinking, and interpersonal skills
• Physical ability to move equipment, assist patients, and perform manual tasks
• Proficiency in reading, writing, PC skills, and understanding written/verbal instructions
• Ability to work effectively with diverse teams and manage multiple priorities
• Visual acuity and sensory communication skills
