About the Role
A Physical Therapist evaluates, diagnoses, and treats patients with physical impairments to improve mobility, reduce pain, and enhance quality of life. They develop personalized, evidence-based treatment plans, utilize various techniques and equipment, and monitor patient progress.
Responsibilities
- Assess patients’ physical conditions through tests, examinations, and history review
- Create and implement individualized rehabilitation programs
- Operate specialized physical therapy equipment safely
- Document evaluations, interventions, and outcomes accurately
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize care
- Educate patients and caregivers on exercises, injury prevention, and self-management
- Maintain a safe treatment environment and adhere to regulatory standards
- Participate in quality assurance and professional development activities
- Assist in discharge planning for continued patient recovery
Requirements
- Valid Physical Therapy license and current BLS certification
- Strong clinical, communication, critical thinking, and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in PC skills and ability to follow instructions
- Physical ability to move and operate equipment; visual acuity and sensory communication skills
- Ability to work effectively with diverse teams and handle pressure
