Travel Physical Therapist (PT)

About the Role

A Physical Therapist evaluates, diagnoses, and treats patients with physical impairments to improve mobility, reduce pain, and enhance quality of life. They develop personalized, evidence-based treatment plans, utilize various techniques and equipment, and monitor patient progress.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients’ physical conditions through tests, examinations, and history review
• Create and implement individualized rehabilitation programs
• Operate specialized physical therapy equipment safely
• Document evaluations, interventions, and outcomes accurately
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize care
• Educate patients and caregivers on exercises, injury prevention, and self-management
• Maintain a safe treatment environment and adhere to regulatory standards
• Participate in quality assurance and professional development activities
• Assist in discharge planning for continued patient recovery

Requirements

• Valid Physical Therapy license and current BLS certification
• Strong clinical, communication, critical thinking, and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in PC skills and ability to follow instructions
• Physical ability to move and operate equipment; visual acuity and sensory communication skills
• Ability to work effectively with diverse teams and handle pressure
