About the role
Provide patient assessments, develop personalized treatment plans, and deliver therapy to improve mobility, strength, and independence in a hospital setting. Collaborate with healthcare teams, educate patients and families, monitor progress, and adjust treatments accordingly. Participate in discharge planning and coordinate follow-up care.
Qualifications
- Doctorate in Physical Therapy
- Valid IA Physical Therapist license
- Current BLS/CPR certification
Key Duties
- Assess patients' physical abilities and create treatment plans
- Provide therapy to enhance mobility and functional independence
- Collaborate with healthcare teams for comprehensive care
- Educate patients and families on exercises and injury prevention
- Monitor, document, and adjust treatment progress
- Implement interventions across various settings
- Participate in discharge and follow-up planning
Additional Details
