Key Responsibilities
- Assess patients using tests and clinical examinations to identify limitations
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans using evidence-based techniques
- Operate and maintain physical therapy equipment safely
- Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatments as needed
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure coordinated patient care
- Educate patients and caregivers on exercises, injury prevention, and self-management
- Maintain safety standards and participate in quality improvement activities
- Assist in discharge planning for continued recovery in community settings
Qualifications and Skills Required
- Valid Physical Therapy license and current BLS certification
- Strong clinical, communication, and critical thinking skills
- Ability to perform physical tasks, operate equipment, and work effectively with diverse teams
- Excellent interpersonal, motor, and sensory skills to ensure safe, effective care
