About the role
We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist (PT) for a travel assignment in a healthcare facility.
Responsibilities
- Evaluating patients' physical conditions through assessments and history
- Developing and implementing personalized rehabilitation plans using evidence-based techniques
- Using specialized equipment safely and effectively
- Monitoring patient progress and adjusting treatment plans accordingly
- Collaborating with healthcare professionals to coordinate care
- Educating patients and caregivers on exercises, injury prevention, and self-management
- Maintaining a safe environment and adhering to infection control protocols
- Participating in quality assurance and professional development activities
- Assisting with discharge planning for continued recovery
Qualifications and skills
- Valid Physical Therapy license in accordance with state regulations
- Current BLS certification
- Strong clinical, critical thinking, and communication skills
- Proficiency in English and PC skills
- Physical ability to move equipment and assist patients
- Interpersonal skills to work effectively with diverse teams and patients
- Ability to work under pressure, follow instructions, and pay attention to detail
