About the role
We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist (PT) for a travel assignment in a healthcare facility.
Responsibilities
- Evaluating, diagnosing, and treating patients to improve mobility and reduce pain
- Developing personalized, evidence-based treatment plans using exercise and manual therapy
- Operating and maintaining therapy equipment safely
- Assessing patient progress and adjusting interventions accordingly
- Collaborating with healthcare professionals for coordinated care
- Educating patients and caregivers on home programs and injury prevention
- Ensuring a safe environment by adhering to infection control and safety protocols
- Participating in quality assurance and professional development
- Supporting discharge planning for smooth patient transitions
- Performing additional duties within scope of practice
Qualifications and skills
- Valid Physical Therapy license and BLS certification
- Strong clinical, communication, and critical thinking skills
- Physical ability to perform manual tasks and move equipment
- Effective interpersonal skills to work with diverse teams
- Ability to work under pressure and maintain attention to detail
- Proficiency in reading, writing, and PC use
