About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist (PT) for a travel assignment in Winchester, Virginia.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients to improve mobility, reduce pain, and enhance quality of life.
- Develop personalized, evidence-based treatment plans using exercise, manual therapy, and specialized equipment.
- Assess patient progress, modify treatments, and document outcomes accurately.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care and optimal results.
- Educate patients and caregivers on home exercises, injury prevention, and self-management.
- Maintain a safe, compliant treatment environment and participate in quality improvement activities.
- Support discharge planning and ensure smooth patient transitions.
Requirements
- Valid Physical Therapy license and current BLS certification.
- Strong clinical skills, critical thinking, and effective communication.
- Physical abilities include moving equipment and assisting patients.
- Interpersonal skills to work effectively with diverse teams.
- Ability to work under pressure, adhere to safety protocols, and maintain professionalism.
- Proficiency in English, PC skills, and comprehension of instructions.
