About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist (PT) for a travel assignment in a healthcare facility. This role focuses on delivering high-quality patient care through personalized rehabilitation plans and collaboration with healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients' physical conditions through exams and history to identify limitations
• Develop personalized, evidence-based rehabilitation plans to improve mobility and reduce pain
• Implement treatment techniques using therapy equipment, monitor patient progress, and adjust plans as needed
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care and optimize outcomes
• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercises, injury prevention, and self-management
• Maintain a safe, compliant treatment environment and document evaluations and interventions
• Participate in quality improvement and professional development activities
• Assist in discharge planning for smooth patient transitions

Requirements

• Valid Physical Therapy license per state regulations
• Current BLS certification
• Strong clinical, communication, and critical thinking skills
• Physical ability to move equipment and assist patients
• Interpersonal skills for effective teamwork
• Proficiency in documentation, reading instructions, and using PC tools
• Ability to work under pressure, maintain professionalism, and adapt to irregular schedules
