About the role

A skilled Physical Therapist (PT) is needed for a travel assignment to evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with physical impairments. The role involves developing personalized, evidence-based treatment plans, utilizing manual therapy and exercise techniques, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care.

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient assessments to identify physical impairments and functional limitations
• Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs
• Utilize manual therapy and therapeutic exercise techniques to improve patient outcomes
• Evaluate patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care
• Educate patients and their families on treatment plans, home exercises, and injury prevention
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care
• Adhere to safety standards and infection control protocols

Requirements

• Valid Physical Therapist (PT) license
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Strong clinical skills in patient evaluation and treatment
• Effective communication and interpersonal abilities
• Physical ability to perform necessary tasks, including lifting and manual therapy techniques

Qualifications

• Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (preferred)
• Prior clinical experience (preferred, but new graduates are welcome)
