About the Role

A skilled Physical Therapist (PT) is needed for a travel assignment in a healthcare facility. The role involves evaluating, diagnosing, and treating patients with physical impairments to improve mobility, reduce pain, and enhance quality of life.

Responsibilities

• Assessing patients’ physical conditions through tests and examinations
• Developing personalized, evidence-based treatment plans
• Implementing therapy techniques and operating specialized equipment
• Monitoring progress, adjusting treatments, and documenting outcomes
• Collaborating with healthcare professionals for coordinated care
• Educating patients and caregivers on exercises, injury prevention, and self-management
• Ensuring a safe environment following infection control and safety standards
• Participating in quality assurance and professional development
• Assisting in discharge planning and other duties within scope of practice

Requirements

• Valid Physical Therapy license in accordance with state regulations
• Current BLS certification
• Strong clinical, communication, and critical thinking skills
• Physical ability to perform manual tasks, lift weights, and move equipment
• Effective interpersonal skills and ability to work with diverse teams
• Proficiency in reading, writing, and computer skills
• Ability to handle frequent public contact, work under pressure, and maintain attention to detail
