Travel Physical Therapist (PT)

Role Overview

The Physical Therapist evaluates, diagnoses, and treats patients to improve mobility, reduce pain, and enhance quality of life across various healthcare settings.

Responsibilities

• Assessing patients' physical conditions through tests and examinations
• Developing and implementing personalized, evidence-based treatment plans
• Using manual therapy and specialized equipment to promote recovery
• Monitoring progress, adjusting treatments, and documenting outcomes
• Collaborating with healthcare professionals for coordinated care
• Educating patients and caregivers on exercises, injury prevention, and self-management
• Maintaining a safe, compliant treatment environment and participating in professional development
• Assisting in discharge planning and ensuring smooth patient transitions

Qualifications & Skills

• Valid Physical Therapy license and BLS certification
• Strong clinical, communication, and critical thinking skills
• Proficiency in English and basic PC skills
• Physical ability to perform manual tasks, move equipment, and assist patients
• Effective interpersonal skills to work with diverse teams
• Ability to handle fast-paced environments and prioritize tasks
• Visual acuity and effective communication abilities
