About the role

A licensed Physical Therapist (PT) is needed for a travel role focused on evaluating, diagnosing, and treating patients to improve mobility, reduce pain, and enhance quality of life. The position involves developing personalized treatment plans, implementing therapy techniques, operating specialized equipment, and monitoring patient progress. Collaboration with healthcare professionals and patient education are essential components.

Responsibilities

• Assessing patients’ conditions and creating treatment plans
• Implementing therapy techniques and adjusting plans as needed
• Ensuring safety and maintaining documentation
• Educating patients and caregivers on exercises and injury prevention
• Collaborating with healthcare team members and participating in discharge planning

Requirements

• Valid Physical Therapy license in accordance with state regulations
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)

Qualifications

• Doctorate degree in physical therapy (preferred)
• Experience in physical therapy; new graduates are welcome

• Proficiency in English, PC skills, and ability to follow instructions
• Physical ability to move equipment and assist patients
